CELLULITE IS ONE OF THE MOST COMMON COSMETIC ISSUES THAT MANY PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH.

Having dimpled, rippled, and pocked skin on the buttocks and thighs can cause individuals to feel self-conscious about their skin’s appearance and keep them from wearing the clothing they love (whether it be skirts, shorts, or bathing suits).

While you can cover up your cellulite with pants and long dresses, it is better to get rid of the cellulite altogether. Avéli™ is one of the newest and most successful cellulite reduction treatments available.

This FDA-approved treatment is minimally invasive and can help you achieve smooth and soft skin while improving your comfort and confidence at the same time.

Avéli™ Can Correct:

Dimples on the Buttocks and Thighs Caused by Cellulite

Fibrous bands under the skin (called septa) tighten and create dimples in the skin. While these skin blemishes are not dangerous to your health, they can be unsightly and annoying. After your Avéli™ cellulite reduction treatment, you’ll be able to notice improvement in the appearance of your cellulite, including smoother skin in the treated area.

How Does Avéli Work?

Up to 90% of women have cellulite, regardless of their fitness level, weight, or body type. Though this condition is not physically harmless, it can still be psychologically troubling. Cellulite commonly appears on the thighs, buttocks, and hips, depending on your skin structure and muscle tone.

Though cellulite is notoriously challenging to treat, Avéli is a quick, FDA-cleared in-office solution. Dr. Gentry at Rejuvenated Medical Spa performs this minimally invasive procedure using a small handheld device that releases the bands that cause cellulite to appear as bumps and dimples on the buttocks and thighs. Usually, only a single session is necessary to produce long-lasting results.

Other advantages of Avéli™ cellulite treatment include:

  • It is safe for all skin types.
  • There is little discomfort associated with the procedure.
  • Side effects, which include bruising and tenderness, are mild and will resolve on their own.
  • You can expect visible, long-lasting results in one month.

Am I a Good Candidate for Avéli™?

Avéli™ could be ideal for you if you are in good overall health, have realistic expectations, and are seeking a minimally invasive, long-term reduction in cellulite dimples. This treatment is an especially worthwhile option for women with busy schedules, since it typically only takes a single appointment to produce optimal outcomes. Dr. Gentry will meet with you and determine your eligibility for Avéli by asking you questions about your health history.

If you’re ready to get rid of those unsightly dimples and smooth the skin on your backside or thighs, please call our office today at 479-335-5777. We look forward to helping you achieve the look and feel you desire!

What to Expect During and After Avéli™

For in-office procedures, we offer a combination of local anesthesia and sedation with Pro-Nox, a mixture of 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide. You will self-administer the medical gas as needed to alleviate any anxiety you might feel.

To locate and sever the connective tissue bands that create cellulite dimples, Dr. Gentry will insert the Avéli device through small incisions and carefully guide it beneath your skin. Because Avéli involves manipulating and cutting tissue under your skin, you can expect some bruising and swelling after treatment. You may experience some discomfort for the first day or two after the anesthetic wears off. Your results should be visible once your swelling and bruising subside, usually about a month after the procedure.
